Superheroes wear clever disguises. They manage to walk around without attracting the slightest bit of attention. But then trouble strikes, and we actually get to witness their incredible power. And what a sight it is to behold.

In this segment, Katy takes off her superhero mask for a little while and tells us her amazing story of breast cancer survival. Joined by her husband and children, she talks about the shock, the pain, the strength, and the love that ultimately prevails in their story. Katy also describes her ongoing quest to help the children of breast cancer patients through her book Our Mama is a Beautiful Garden.

It’s not too often that you get to see and hear an up-close interview with a superhero, so take this while you can. And even superheroes need sidekicks- order Katy’s book here or donate one to your community.
